Kazuo Yamasaki (Mr.) is a patent and trademark attorney in the Chemical & Biotechnology Section specializing in the patent prosecution and litigation of chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, and materials and devices related thereto. He graduated from the Yokohama National University where he attained a B.S. and M.S. in material chemistry. Thereafter he joined an electronic device company where while working as a researcher he passed the Japanese Patent Bar Examination. Mr. Yamasaki is also an active member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA) and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
