Takeshi Deshimaru (Mr.) is a patent attorney in the Mechanical Section with a specialty in patent prosecution and litigation related to mechanical and electrical engineering. He studied mechanical engineering at the Kyoto Institute of Technology where he continued his post-secondary education and attained a master’s degree. He then joined a general electric company where he worked in the IP Department. Later he went on to pass the Japanese Patent Bar Examination and thereafter joined Nakamura & Partners. Mr. Deshimaru is a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
