Takeshi IWAKAMI (Mr.) is a patent attorney in the Mechanical Section specializing mechanical, thermal, and astronautical engineering. He earned a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from The University of Tokyo. After the graduation, he worked for an electronics and electrical equipment manufacturing company and another patent firm, and during that same period, passed the Japanese Patent Bar Examination. Later, he joined Nakamura & Partners and studied at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and thereafter, passed the U.S. Patent Bar Examination. Mr. Iwakami is also a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
