Shintaro Tominaga is a patent attorney in the Electronics & IT Section and specializes in patent prosecution and litigation in the fields of electronics, electrical engineering, and physics. He graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University with a B.S. in Physics and then went on to earn a Master of Human and Environmental Studies in Physics from Kyoto University Graduate School. After graduation, he gained experience at other patent firms as a patent engineer supporting patent prosecution matters. He passed the Japanese Patent Bar Examination in 2016 and registered as a patent attorney in 2017. He joined Nakamura & Partners in 2019, and became a partner in 2025. He is a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
