Profile
Hidekazu Nishimura is an attorney at law and patent attorney in our Legal Section. He focuses on litigation and transactions involving intellectual property law, international commercial transactions, labor and employment law, and data protection and privacy law. After graduating with an LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, Department of Law at Keio University and the Legal Training and Research Institute, he joined Nakamura & Partners. He later earned an LL.M. degree from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he also earned a Law & Technology Certificate. In addition, he worked at the Los Angeles office of Morrison Foerster as Visiting International Attorney. He has written on a wide range of subjects connected with IP-related issues, labor and employment law, and data protection and privacy law.
