Gen Tashiro (Mr.) is a patent attorney in the Chemical & Biotechnology Section with a focus on chemistry, molecular biology, and biochemistry patent prosecution and litigation. He graduated from The University of Tokyo, receiving a B.S. and M.S. in science. He then worked for a scientific research institution, and while there passed the Japanese Patent Bar Examination. Mr. Tashiro is a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association and has written on post-grant amendment systems in foreign countries.
